RAK continues to grow and expand in alignment with the industrial development of our region and country.

The company began its operations in the mid-1980s, supplying electrical materials, equipment, and essential components. In the early 2000s, RAK expanded its commercial activities and laid the groundwork for establishing the first electrical panel manufacturing facility in the Kurdistan Region—one of the earliest in Iraq. This led to the official founding of RAK Company for Electrical Panel Manufacturing, Trading, and General Contracting (Ltd.).

Since then, RAK has successfully delivered numerous large and medium-scale projects and has become a trusted provider of electrical, lighting, and electronic systems. The company’s expertise now spans power distribution, automation, lighting (indoor, outdoor, street, garden, and stadium), low current systems, fire and safety, and smart infrastructure.

We proudly serve clients across the public and private sectors, including critical projects for residential and commercial complexes, hospitals, schools and universities, industrial facilities, and oil & gas sites. Within a short time, the company evolved into a group of companies and a recognized brand, achieving its goal of becoming a leading contractor, supplier, and distributor for the majority of the regional market’s needs.
